Company's mission
Ultimate Sensors, Inc. was founded in 2001 as a R&D company with prototyping abilities. It offers an engineering research and prototyping services in the fields of optoelectronics, optical sensors, fluorescence, radiation detection and imaging.
Our Mission
Integration of novel optoelectronic and optic technology to industry, biology, and medicine. Engineering projects and consulting in the field of microelectronics, optoelectronics, and biotechnology. New technique development based on optical and optoelectronic devices.
Founder
Michael Gouzman received his engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics in 1978 and his Ph.D. degree from Twer Technical University in 1990.
Since 1996 working in Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, SUNY at Stony Brook as University Instructional Specialist and Adjunct Professor. Director of the Optoelectronic sensors and systems Laboratory in Sensor CAT. He is an author of 15 patents and more than 50 articles.
Parent organization
Ultimate Sensors, Inc. is a spinoff company of the Stony Brook University, we provide intellectual, logistical and material resources for the development of new product technologies — by facilitating R&D partnerships between New York companies with an in-state footprint and university researchers. The important outcomes are new jobs, new patents, training of students in a company product matters, and improved competitiveness for New York State business.
